Top Tips for Making a Cloud:

  • Add Gum Tragacanth to your sugar paste so it stays firm once dry.
  • Stick the balls of sugar paste together while they're still soft so they are easy to manipulate.
  • Use edible glue to stick the balls together.
  • When rolling out your sugar paste, keep it fairly thin so you can get some definition in your cloud.
  • Use a dry brush to push the rolled sugar paste into the cracks.
  • Use a scalpel to pull away any excess sugar paste.

Lizzie's Bakery has whipped up this beauty. Having loved baking and starting work in social media, she then started Lizzie's Bakery and now sells lovely cakes in New England.
